can everyone experienced with tuning proms help me make a checklist. i'd prefer to have the same/similar equipment most people on here have so i can ask better questions. so what do i need and more importantly what does everyone recommend? thanks in advance

I know its ON 3rd gen org... BUT Tim Siford (aka Traxion, I know him personally) he is a good guy and put together a GREAT INTRO reading...

and it will have everything you need to know...

BUT here is what I use personally:

Tuner Cat/GMEPro
Pocket Programmer

Ditto what Rick said. That "intro to Prom burning" was a great start for me.

I use:

TunerCat
Pocket Programmer
DataraseII UV eraser

P.S. Most importantly, you need some sort of scantool, or diagnostic software to see what you car is doing, and whether or not your changes helped or not. Doing changes "blindly" is VERY BAD!!! :eek:

aaah, i almost forot about that article! as a matter of fact i believe i have it saved on my comp. thanks guys for your prompt and competent responses. :D
