Uh oh, another Concord guy. I'll be there soon. Anyways, first things first:

TUNE UP. Thats plugs, wires, cap, rotor, super coil (optional) check brakes, change oil, check all other fluids, check light bulbs (my pet peeve, I hate burnt out light bulbs)

Always make sure it is in good tune before attempting any mods. Although some can be done in conjunction with the tune up. That should be a good place to start.

BTW: draob eht ot emocleW. and Hi

Proper "netiquette" is to type normally. All caps are considered yelling. :D

Welcome.

Do all the free mods first along with the tune up. Bump the timing to about 12-13 degrees, yank the MAF screens, bypass the heater hose going to the TB, & cut out the bottoms of the filter boxes. Those should give you a good start. Those mods along w/ K&N's, and air foil, and a gutted cat got me into the low 15's when I had a 305.

Welcome to the board smile.gif

Exhaust is always a good place to start. A good 3 inch catback exhaust will free up a little power..there are a couple people on the board very happy w/ their Hooker catback.

Yes, the butt dyno was very pleased w/ the headers and Hooker catback system. Very noticable difference.

I forgot about porting the intake plenum, it will only cost you a set of runner to plenum gaskets. You'll need some sort of dremel or air powered tool w/ a cutting bit to accomplish this.
