I have been "tagged" a few times by the local F-Body club. They have a cheep looking bussiness card and the officers ask the members to leave the cards on cars that they see in their area.
I was wondering what you guys thought about this. I just might have a "source" on getting some nice ones done up for us.

I think the idea has been tossed around once or twice. I even think Bernard used to do it once in a while. I think its a good idea but no one ever seems to be able to come up with a good source for cards. But since you have one I say go for it.

I used to print up flyers and stick them under wipers of 3rd gens, but then I started feeling like the people advertising to lose 50lbs in 2 weeks, so I stopped. redface.gif

I think some small, business sized cards would be cool, that way if you meet somebody, you could give them something to remember the website with. :D

It seems that I recall seeing a bussiness card templete some where on the site. Does anyone know where I might could find it, or have any ideas for a new design?

If you dont mind let this hang around for a week to see if anyone come up with changes or suggestions for the cards. I will be in touch with Keith at Walker Printing in Birmingham this week to give him a heads up that the order will be coming. We will also need to decide on how many we need and how to distribute them.

it may need to be resized ever so slightly, as I recall it's a little bigger than a business card.

Well I think, and this is just my opinion...we need stickers and not ricer looking stickers....not to copy the f-body association here in Memphis....but a sticker w/ the web addy will get it out there and seeing that some of us dont live in Jaw-ja or Fl we could get more members from the areas we live in...just my lil ideal smile.gif .

I'm not real big on stickers.

Sticker would be ok if it would be something simple and maybe one color that you could put on your back glass or something, something that wouldn't stand out but if you were looking at the car you would see it.

If you go in the direction of stickers I would get cling type that could stick in rear windows but can just be peeled off and stuck back on later. I personally hate stickers that have to be scraped off a car.

The cards look good. Personaly, I would not put any peoples names on them.... just let the club name stand out.

There are a lot of thirdgens in my area, many times I have wished for cards I could hand people.

there was a place that i saw that did free cards... might have been kinko's online - i got bored one night and went there, two weeks later, i got a box of 500 bidness cards in the mail - i assume we could set up some general card idea, and have everyone go do this - and it would be free....
i'll look and see if i can find where it was from...

I like the card. I think the font adds interest.

BUT.... we are never going to make everyone completely happy with the card choice.
