Ok, I moderate at another MB - this question was posted:
"I need some help i recently swaped a 2.8 mpfi to a 5.7 tpi and i got the engine compartment harness.Heres my prob...there are two connectors on the v6 harness that are under the dash and one of the connenctors goes to the injectors/cooliing fan.Theres a pink, pink/black,and a tan wire. but on the 5.7 harness there isnt that injector plug. Also the clear/black connector wires dont match up. If anybody can help that would be greatly appreciated!!!!"

What do you all make of this? I have never done a V6 to TPI V8 swap, or anything that required lots of rewiring to the stock harness. I left all the shiznit behind when I got the DFI. Thanks guys.

Never done a V6-V8 swap myself. Millican has a diagram that may help, not sure though.

I have some wiring schematic diagrams.....but thery are sketchy at best. I photocopied them from a book a few years ago, it's very hard to tell which wires go to where.

Wiring is my second most feared part of the car, right behind the auto trany.

right behind the auto trany. Hey now! I resemble that remark! tongue.gif Hopefully mine will hang together, otherwise I'll be doing what Rick did, but a TH350 instead of a TH400.

T-5's fear me, and they don't seem to last long for me. Went through 5 of them in my LX, and one in my other IROC. I learned to drive a manual on muncie 4 speeds, they handle the abuse a lot better.
