I broke my transmission mount again! I wanted to know what everyone else was using. Is there anything stronger than the 1LE or will the 1LE hold up? Please remember that I am going to be putting in an LT4 block with LT1 heads, I know that there will be a lot more torque and I need to get it past the trans, without it breaking the mount. BTW...This mount is five months old, a standard replacement from AutoZone.

Get a polyurethane mount. I don't know how much one costs by itself, I got mine with a whole package setup. Well worth it though. Haven't broken it yet.

Get the energy suspension trans mount out of Summit. Its about $25 and is garunteed not to break, plus it comes in a variety of colors!

I have an Energy Suspension mount. It's a tad harsher, but it never broke during 2 years of racing on sticky tires. I alkso drilled my crossmember out so that it attaches w/ 2 bolts instaed of one in the center.

I could take some, but you wouldn't be able to see it under the car. Basically the mount comes w/ 3 holes. I used the outer two which is like the older GM cars used.
