Hey guys,
I don't know the milage of either rear...they both came from junk yard cars. I just know they are both noise free and that the posi's work good. All the parts are located just outside of Sandersville, GA.

Can someone refer me to somewhere that I can sell this stuff? This is the third time I've posted this stuff and now I'm to the point where I need to move it out or take it to the junk yard to see what I can get for it there. If you're even remotely interested, make an offer.

Sorry I forgot that I posted in this area. I am not sure what you will get, but I live in Dallas and not about to ship something that I haven't checked myself. Maybe if you new the miles. Sorry Dude. Good luck!!

Geoff, I'd love to get those 3.42s off of you, but getting ready for the shootout, I'm strapped for cash, and I have no way of getting it home.

I'm in the same boat as Bernard. I'd love to get them, but i'm not hauling a rear back inside the car. If you still have it on the weekend of the 10,11,12th of May, i'll drive down there with a truck and buy it.

I'm interested in that 3.42 rear you've got
I live in Cookeville, TN though - yahoo says it's an 8 hour drive
what are the chances that we could meet somewhere like atlanta so i could make it a oneday trip?
or is this a "you pick up only" item?

Hey, if I had a truck, it wouldn't be that big of a deal, but unfortunately...I don't have a truck... Sorry. I'm beginning to think I'm permanently stuck with these parts...

Okay boys and girls,
Let's see if I can stir up a little interest in these parts.
3.23 Posi 4th gen rear - no brakes - $125 OBO (from 95 Z28)
3.42 Posi 4th gen rear - no brakes - $125 OBO (from 97 T/A)
4.10 gear set - fits either above (used) - $50 OBO
Set of 8 barely used 19# Ford Injectors - $175 OBO
2 - drum brake rears non-posi - FREE
1995 Z28 rear bumper cover (Red) - small tear in corner from wreck. Looks repairable - FREE
1995 Z28 factory rear spoiler (Red) - scratched and small stress cracks from wreck - FREE
1988 Camaro Passenger side door with window (electric) includes lock (Also window is chipped from coat hanger) - FREE
Here's the mondo deal for those of you wanting to make a buck. I'll sell both rears as they are for $200 and throw in the 4.10 gears if you haul all the other rears off too. Like I said, I don't have access to a truck and I need to move this stuff soon. Bernard, if you read this, I'll trade you what you want for the labor of you rebuilding the 700r4 outta my car...

Will the 4th generation fit under a third generation (91 Camaro RS?) I understand them to be wider?
If they will fit, I'll come and get em.
They are wider, 2" per side. Just requires 4thgen offset wheels because everything else is the same.

Buckshot, it's just as LL6 said. They fit, it's just that they stick out 2" farther on each side. The plus side is that they enable you to install 4th gen wheels on the back without spacers. Just let me know...

Do you know how many miles are on the posi.s?
Will the 91 RS drum brakes bolt up to the fourth generation rear end? How far are you from Shreveport, LA.? Give me a call and leave your phone number on my voice mail: (318) 426-3269 and I will call you back (tell me a good time to call).
Will the front end of my 91 RS allow 4th generation wheels to bolt to them? If not what will it take?
Does anyone have a good deal on a set of fourth generation wheels?
If not can I run the stock 15" wheels on the fourth generation rear end without rubbing the car body on the wheel?
Thanks

Do you know how many miles are on the posi.s He already posted no, they were from junkyard cars.
Will the 91 RS drum brakes bolt up to the fourth generation rear end Not without extensive welding. I've tried and only succeeded in blowing up my brake cylinder
Will the front end of my 91 RS allow 4th generation wheels to bolt to them? If not what will it take? No, it will take at least a 2 1/4 inch adaptors available at www.skulte.com (http://www.skulte.com)
can I run the stock 15" wheels on the fourth generation rear end without rubbing the car body on the wheel You can run them, but if you bottom out, they will rub. Unless you have low profile tires.

Thanks for the feed back! I'm gonna have to keep looking for a set that will bolt under the 1991 RS with minimal modifications....Already have to many other projects with the bikes and boats to rip up the RS>

I'm guessing by your last post that you're no longer interested Buckshot. As per my location info, you can see I'm in GA...middle GA to be more precise. You can use the 4th gen rear under any third gen and still use the OE wheels from your car...they just stick out 2" farther. I ran my 83 Z with 91-92 wheels on it for several years with no rubbing issues. BTW, Steve, Thanks for the reply...as you can see, I don't reply at night much since I have high speed access at work. smile.gif

N/p on the info. As you know i already have a 4th gen rear in my car so I know what's required to put one in. I just need to stop breaking them.
I'm not going to make it down there this weekend. But I will next weekend for sure if you still have the 3.42 rear.
Parts i have to trade with if interested:
Holley 600 Vac sec (needs 2 threads need repair, fuel inlet and front bowl)
A ton of holley parts (power valves, pump cams, secondary springs)
Edelbrock Performer intake for 87 up heads
Edelbrock Performer RPM intake for 86 and lower heads
TPI lower intake for 86 lower heads
TPI upper intake 88 and lower style
85 305 HO heads
HEI Vacume advance distrubuter with used Accel coil (doesn't look the greatest but works)
Chrome drop base breather with K&N filter
I think thats about it.
