Coming home form the track this evening everything was fine. We pass through a small town and as we were leaving stuff started to happen.

Car is hesitating all through the RPM range at idle and gets even more noticable when there is a load on the engine as in accelerating. As the rpm increase it does seem to get better around 3500+ RPMS. When I let of the gas after accelerating I can here even more afterfire through the exhaust...kind of like a popcorn popping....

No SES light at all. Only thing I did was bumped up the FP at the track and forgot to knock it down after we left.

Could I have fouled the plugs that quick?...

I doubt you fouled the plugs, but I would bet you knocked something loose that fell off finally when you started to leave town. Look around near the regulator. My car has like 3 hoses near there, plus the plug wires. Its prolly something simple man......

I would check the fuel pressure.
