Bernard it looked like you had removed you pruge canister. If this is correct how did you do it I thought it was of those that was needed, like the PCV valve??....

I just yanked it out, and plugged all the fittings, like the one at the tank. I want to eventually put one back on it, because w/ the purge line plugged, I get alot of pressure in the fuel tank. On a real hot day w/ a low tank, when I unscrew it, it almost blows the cap out of my hand.

Mine does the exact same thing but its under vacuum. Is this normal?

No, you should have a vent to let fresh air in. Pulling a vacuum on the tank can put a strain on the fuel pump. You should check the vent under the car by the tank. You could also try another gas cap, just make sure its vented.
