just an FYI in case you've ever wondered. You start at TDC with #1, then rotate the crank 90*, and adjust the next cylinder following the firing order. Repeat until doing the last cylinder - #8. Not a big deal on a stock engine I suppose, but the car I am working on has aftermarket heads that have been cut a little, and a larger than stock camshaft. You have to shim the rockers .015" at a time to get the proper preload on the lifters. Holy sh!t what a big pain in my ass!

Got the heads back from the porter yesterday for the 95' GT I am working on currently. Pictures, sound clip, etc. to follow in the comming days.

We have a pseudo "hot rod" in the shop now. Its a 4.6 Mustang getting headers, intake, rockers, etc... When we opened the shop we really didn't plan on doing "performance" stuff, but my partner loves Mustangs and it does help keep the lights on... :confused0086: LOL

What a nightmare, have it mostly back together. Then, a 90' GT shows up on a roll back. ::sigh:: At least I'm staying busy...
