Anyone ever find out what this light is for yet??..

We found out I had one but I'm pretty sure it doesn't work. Is it supposed to come on w/ the instrument panel?

strange stuff. if you have an automatic there's a little fiber optic cable running from the shift indicator light to the ashtray. supposed to light up the ashtray i suppose, doesnt do a great job. where exactly is the light??

Yes strange stuff indeed, lights behind dashes, people looking 12 or 11 when they are 'supposedly' older, and others taking a whipping....yup strange stuff smile.gif

The light I know on my car is to the drivers side of the center console, behind the dash, where all the wires for the dash are above the hush panel. Mine comes on only when the engine is running OR the door is open.

My buddy has those in his '86 Iroc. His only come on when the lights come on. The are in the 'hush' panel in the corners, light up where your feet go. I think there neat personally. Give the car a nice glow. Thats what he has. My '92 has no such lights, however has the spots in the hush panels for them. Hmm...makes you wonder about GM.

Besides I was mainly refering to a few folks that we saw at the Low Country meet that looked a little young to be driving, particularly the confused kid driving the Mustang smile.gif Also look on the bright side, at least we dont think you are at least 40 or something smile.gif

How about the kid w/ the Porcshe that had to flex his muscle, only to pick up his G/F and get out and hop in the passanger side!!!!!!! Nothing like showin off in the 'ol ladies car graemlins/lol.gif
