I figure he would be all about something like this. Watch some of the other related videos, there are some insanely fast cars racing.

Someone could build a turbo Lsx in a fox coupe ala drag radial and dominate that whole scene

Thanks for posting this Brian.

CAR CRAFT did a story on that a year or two ago! If ya think about it, you have natural drag strips each winter, just blade the ice off. When the ice gets rough, your track prep is drilling some holes and pumping water on to the course, let it freeze over night and level it off nice and clean, that's how they do drag and oval tracks on lakes for snowmobile racing. And I know a guy that ice races bikes (oval) up yonder.
Now I'd not stand BEHIND any of those launching cars...imagine some of those razor sharp studs flying at ya!

Think of the HP you can make when it's 5 below! Internet search shows Merrill, Wi 1316' elevation, calculate that density altitude. Being it's Wisconisn, there's probably really good Bratwurst and fried cheeze curds sold at the concession stand, to warm you up.

Yes, it's cold. But it appears these guys live there anyway, and it's a good way to get that otherwise hibernating street machine out and use it. Wonder what my S10 would do?

I'd rather be in the cold and bundled up than slimy in my own sweat, soaked to the bone in Georgia heat and humidity. The reason I don't go to a drag strip June through August in the south.
